In the Fate franchise, Robin is known as the Faceless King, a bowman with little confidence and a mysterious backstory. He is not the true Robin Hood of legend, rather, he is a personification (or archetype) of all the stories of Robin Hood characters. In Fate/Grand Order, he is a Rare 3-Star servant who excels in sabotage and arts abilities.
When I was first getting into Fate/Grand Order (or FGO for short), I spent some time looking online to see what servants were available and which ones I might be interested in focusing on. I come across Robin and I really liked him, aesthetically speaking, but could I really call him a favorite if I did not actually have him in my party? I was able to get him and spent time reading his lines and chatting with him in game. I decided that I also really liked his personality, even though he comes off a bit rough at times but deep down you know he is really a good guy. He also has a fun sense of humor and is part of the "cheap archer" dynamic along with Billy the Kid.
He is not particularly tough as a 3-star servant but I think he is a worthwhile investment. He has good skills that make him durable and his special attack (Noble Phantasm) scales nicely so that you can do upwards of hundreds of damage against Saber-class servants, and even fire it off multiple times in a match. He is one of my go-to servants when I am putting together an arts-based team.
